How AddressLab is maintained
AddressLab is an independently maintained developer tool for address-form testing. Country fixtures and page guidance are updated when formats or supported regions change; the data methodology explains what is checked and what remains synthetic.
What AddressLab does
The product creates structured address-format test records for developers, QA teams, product managers, and indie builders. It supports form validation, prototypes, demos, seed data, checkout testing, export testing, and localization checks.
What is included
Generated records can include name, phone, a random email-format field, street, city, state or region, postal code, country, and a formatted full address. Real message delivery must be tested with a mailbox controlled by your own QA team.
How content is maintained
Country formats and QA guides are reviewed against public postal guidance and the live generator. The data methodology page documents how fixtures are assembled, what accuracy means, and how to report corrections.
Responsible use
AddressLab provides synthetic test data only. Generated records are not verified delivery addresses, do not represent real identities, and must not be used for fraud, impersonation, tax evasion, spam registration, or bypassing platform rules.
Editorial process
AddressLab publishes the testing guides and tool documentation. Country-format claims are compared with linked postal references and the generator output. To report a mismatch, send the page URL, affected field, expected format, and a supporting source to the contact address below.
