Singapore: Address structure and practical checks

Postal-code handling

The postcode has six digits. Store it as text; a matching pattern does not prove that a unit or recipient exists.

Address fields

Keep the # floorโ€“unit notation in the street field. When Singapore is selected, clear any state left over from a previous country.

Try a concrete workflow

Generate a record, copy its fields, save it and export CSV or JSON. Compare the same record at each step, including its region, locality and postal field; a new generation is a different sample.

Scope of these samples

These are synthetic format examples, not verified delivery addresses or real identities. A listed region does not mean that every city, street or building there is covered.

  • Try a unit-number round trip
  • Coverage and limitations

Primary references

Data boundary: AddressLab checks field structure and format against the references below. Generated records remain synthetic test fixtures: a plausible format does not prove that a house number, building, person, phone number, or delivery point exists. Use an official address-validation service or recipient-confirmed data for production delivery. Read the data methodology and editorial standards
