Privacy practices for AddressLab.

Information you provide
AddressLab does not require an account. Generated records are synthetic test fixtures and are not identity claims. Do not enter customer data, private information, production credentials, or payment information into the tool.
Local storage
Saved addresses, generator preferences, and language preferences are stored in your browser localStorage. You can remove saved records with the clear-saved control or by clearing site data in your browser.
Email test fields
Email values are randomly assembled using common provider domains and may match existing mailboxes. AddressLab does not create accounts, check ownership, or send or receive messages. Do not send mail to these samples or use them for real registrations. Use a mailbox you control for delivery tests.
Abuse prevention
AddressLab may use basic request metadata and platform security controls to prevent automated abuse and protect service availability.
Google Analytics
AddressLab uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4, measurement ID G-VJXR8GY8KM) to produce aggregate reports about page views, tool interactions, traffic sources and devices. Google receives request metadata such as browser, page and network information; analytics cookies and identifiers are used according to your consent choice. Denied consent does not necessarily prevent cookieless measurement requests. Generated address values are not intentionally included in our analytics events. Use Cookie settings to accept or decline analytics storage; Google's opt-out browser add-on and browser controls provide additional choices.
Consent and navigation storage
The addresslab_consent localStorage entry stores only your analytics choice, including choices saved before this policy update. It is not advertising consent. A short-lived sessionStorage entry records the destination when you click a country link so that page can generate a sample once; it is consumed on arrival and expires logically after one minute.
Vercel Web Analytics
Vercel Web Analytics tracking is disabled. This does not disable hosting request logs or platform security controls.
Google AdSense
AddressLab loads Google's AdSense script on indexable pages during site review. Loading the script is distinct from displaying an ad; the application currently adds no manual ad units. Requests to Google can include IP address, browser and page information. Google and its partners may use cookies or other identifiers for advertising where enabled and permitted. Our analytics choice does not grant advertising consent. Before enabling personalized ads in regions requiring a certified consent management platform, a separate advertising consent solution must be configured.
Your choices
AddressLab shows a cookie banner where you can accept or decline analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4). You can change this choice any time via the "Cookie settings" button, clear local browser data, and use browser controls to restrict cookies. Advertising preferences can also be managed through Google's advertising settings.
